It’s voting time at JPG Magazine!
Pipes?!…
One of the most curious, and strange, web applications that appeared in this thing we call Internet has to be Yahoo! Pipes. In just a few words, but Lifehacker have a more detailed review, this tool lets you gather information from several places around the web (usually using RSS), transforms it and exports the results into one place. The best part is that this happens using a neat graphic interface, no HTML code or technical knowledge is needed, I just used it for a couple of minutes but I already created something I was needing for some time: a way to combine the updates of my photo galleries in one place, usefull for publising it as a RSS feed.

Nikon FM2 Users @ Flickr
I’ve been a Flickr user for a while and I’ve been quite pleased with it, I love how it works (like tagging, geotagging and many other features) and it’s simplicity, but there was one thing that bothered me, not with the site itself but the community: there was plenty of groups dedicated to all kinds of cameras, but none of them to my long time favorite and workshorse. So my guess was to create one and hope there were many other FM2 users, just like me, in the FlickrUniverse waiting for this; the answer is yes and nowadays there are few and talented users, not many but enough, that submited a few hundreds of photos to this group.

Flickeur
Now here’s a wacky thing, this web page randomly grabs photos from Flickr and creates a really cool multimedia presentation. This is very vague, but it resembles a dream or some kind of alternative music video.
…And coolest thing is, since it’s completely random, you have a different presentation each time you check the page.

TemujinPhoto
It has begun!
I’m already working in the port of my photography site Temujin Photo to Ruby On Rails, nowadays its just plain HTML. The design will remain the same, the idea is to add a bit more of flexibility on the server side, implement the current external services (stuff like the newsletter and the guestbook) and do a couple of other things; all of this while exploring a new web framework.
As soon as it’s over I’ll be able to move it to the future domain (www.temujinphoto.com) and possibly with some surprises.

Afterlife | the 4 seasons of Steatham Cemetery
This is a photo gallery different from anything you may have ever seen; is an old cemetery shown in four views, corresponding to each season of the year. It’s amazing how the same scenery can look so different throughout the year.
